What is the reward for a career in Content Marketing?
In the happiest times of my life, writing shared my excitement and smiles.
In the calm times of my life, writing fueled my dreams and hopes.
In the darkest times of my life, writing pushed me forward.

Writing has proved to me that our imagination and creativity is the limit. That you can dream big and achieve great things, as long as you have the same patience and perseverance to work on them, as you have when writing, reading, proofreading, editing, rereading, and improving your texts.
Writing is one of the most precious gifts life could give to someone, and sometimes, one of the most difficult to bear.
Because in every word set down you put emotions that sometimes you would prefer to keep silent, and not acknowledge.
Writing makes you constantly travel to your inner self with a mirror, and asks you to look at yourself in the most honest and transparent possible way. You have to take off the masks and have the most open, painful, and rewarding conversation one could have – the one-on-one with yourself.
Writing challenges your fears by the simple fact that it makes you admit you have them. And once you accept them, there is no other path to take than the one of facing, step by step, each and every single one of them.
I fought writing so many times before I embraced a career in Content Marketing. I’m so glad that I’ve lost. I’ve learned the precious lesson that there are moments in our lives when you win by losing the fight.
There were so many reasons to still be engaged in that battle:
- It is not for me.
- I could not write to ‘sell’.
- I don’t have any background in marketing.
- What if I’m going to mess things up?
- What if I’m just a mediocre writer?
- … and the list goes on and on.
There are so many reasons that make me happy to not have won that fight:
- I have finally found the career path where I can let my creativity free and keep my curiosity busy.
- I keep discovering that I have skills I could have never thought I have.
- I write. No matter the whole list of excuses I could find to procrastinate, I write.
- I am a Content Marketing professional in the tech industry, and it makes me so proud to be here. I have met so many amazing people, who inspire me, who constantly give me so many life lessons about resilience, kindness, empowerment. I’m so grateful for having each and every one of you in my life that I could not find enough words to say it and enough strength to hug you in the tightest way I want to every time we meet.

Dear reader and beautiful Human,
If this open letter of mine kept you reading until here, I feel honored. Thank you for the precious time you have decided to spend on this small world of mine, defined as a ‘blog’ in the currently known terminology.
I promise that I am going to do my best to come up with valuable content, worth investing time in.
For the time being, I’m going to share with you my stories and experiences in Brand & Content Marketing, along with some ‘behind-the-scenes’ moments that nurture my creativity. Maybe they will be useful for you as well.
Thank you again for being here. It means the world to me.
See you soon, and in the meantime, spread kindness – the world needs it so much.
